Childhoooooooooooooddd
I have known my Ecuadorian childhood friends for my entire life and we always hung out together in a group. The first one of my friends is Juan Martin Montejo. He was basically the leader of our friendship group, he was the oldest, and always made up all the good games to play, he was like Tommy from the rug rats, we basically just did what he told us to do. Then there was Juan Martin's cousin, Martina Rios. She was also a little older than me, by s few months actually, and as a result she was kind of like the co leader of the group, she was also really bossy do she was like Angelica from the rug rats. Then came me, I was third oldest and for little while I was also the youngest, I was kind of like Chucky. We all hung out whenever our parents would get together which was almost every weekend or every other weekend but when I was around two years old they all got brothers and sisters which would also become part of our friendship group. First came Juan's brother, Jose Inacio, but we all just call him Bocha, and my parents are actually his godparents. And then came Martina's brother Fransisco, and we nicknamed him Pancho. Bocha and Pancho are the same age so they were kind of like the twins from the rug rats. That is basically the group, although at cook outs and stuff we would normally invite their cousins or my cousins but the people I named are the main people I always hung out with. All my memories of them are kind of like the backyardigans, at my house at Ecuador I have a really big big back yard, I'm saying huge like I had a jungle in the backyard but it was pretty safe and isolated. The jungle had hills and small rocky uphill sides so we would always make adventures and everything. One time we actually made a base for our group and that's where we would always go play, it was like this flat part kind of outside my house and its surrounded by trees. The cool part though is that I asked my dad to build us a base on that very location and he ended up contracting some guy to build us a mini house up there with electricity and everything, we played there for a while but eventually it got full of dirt and big bugs including spiders the size of the palm of your hands. The mini house is still there today but we kind of covered it with graffiti. We had dozens of different adventures as kids, so many that it would take hours and hours to tell them all. I still see my friends every time I go to Ecuador, but we're a lot older now so we just kind of watch tv and play Xbox. My childhood was pretty good.

Song used: How to love- Lil Wayne
How to love is a song released by little wayne in 2010. At first glance, it seems like the kind of song that is about some girl that the singer used to date in the past and how he regrets losing her. However if you listen to the lyrics and interpret them accordingly, hes really acting as a third person omniscient and is explaining the girl's love and social life. The song is easy to understand and is not hard to analyze, after listening to it a few times. The song contains some literary devices and has some "meanings" but as mentioned, its pretty self explanatory.
The song is about a young girl, most likely in her young 20's and basically the song just explains her social and love life. it points out how she unnecessarily feels insecure about herself even though she is very pretty, "you cant have a man look at you for 5 seconds, without you feeling insecure.". The singer then states later in the song, after explaining how she feels about herself "i just want you to know that you deserve the best, your beautiful." Now the as mentioned earlier, the song explains her love life, this can be seen in many lines in the song such as "you never really had luck, couldnt never figure out how to love." and it can also be seen when the singer says "you had alot of moment that didnt last forever, now your in this corner trying to pull it together."

My name is Mauricio, my family an i have been hiding in the nearby forest. My father told me the fighting is happening because the snobby rich people misspent their money on luxuries... Their so selfish... They misspend their money, and instead of giving themselves taxes they gave is the burden and brought ours up even more! We can barley even afford enough bred for the family! To make things worse, my parents left a two nights ago and i havent heard from them since, im with my grandparents and i overheard them talking about my parents going to get supplies or something from the prison. Im worried, starving and scared and my grandparents wont even let me go into the city to see my friends because its too "dangerous". I feel so useless and i just want the fighting to stop.

Odysseus is the hero who sacked the city of Troy, during the Trojan war. When the war was over, he put his efforts toward getting home to the Greek city of Ithaca. On his way back, he encountered the son of Poseidon, The one eyed giant, the cyclops, Polyphemus. Unaware that it was Poseidon's son, he blindly made the selfish decision to mock the cyclops and reveal his true identity to him. This action was selfish because it put both he and his crew through a horrifying journey home. Odysseus fits his role as a epic hero in many ways such as overcoming obstacles and is courageous and intelligent however he lacked the honorable trait, he began to get desperate and began to let his men die. An example of this is at the Scylla, he didn't tell them about it and let six of his men die. So he is a epic hero in some ways, and in some ways he's not.

Odysseus is an ancient Greek hero who helped take down and sack the city of Troy. As he faces his journey back, he is met with obstacles which are very inconvenient. Odysseus is portrayed as a sort of "king among kings"but with very bad luck. His qualities range from strong and heroic to wise and good decision maker. Despite his strengths and wits, the one most hardheaded decision he made was yelling at the dumb cyclops, and revealing his true identity, This made Polyphemus, the Cyclops, curse Odysseus and his crew which made his journey back a nightmare for him and his crew. So it is evident that Odysseus's biggest flaw is being unable to suppress his anger. If it was not for his anger, his troubles could have been prevented.

Telemachus point of view
Telemachus was the son of Odysseus and Penelope. He was born in the city of Ithica, and has
been living with his mother and taking care of her while her father was away on the Trojan war. He
was annoyed at the fact that the suiters were trying to marry his mother, Penelope. His mother and
him were not sure about whether or not they should have accepted the suiters requests on marriage,
this is because they were unsure about Odysseuses wearabouts, they didn't know if he was still alive
or not. All the other gods except Athena felt compassionate over Odysseuses situation so Athena
decided to help Telemachus and his family. She disguised herself as Minerva and helped Telemachus
out by insisting that he continues to support his mother.

An archetype is a universal symbol for something. For example an archetype for american schools, is the yellow schoolbus. One common archetype is the child, and is featured in the book Hatchet by Gary Paulson. This archetype represents our birth or hope and promise for a new beginning. It is represented in this book because the main character has to start from the very beginning and find a way to survive in the wild by himself with little to no survival experience. He developes new instincts that are hidden in all people because people are accustomed to today's life. In this way he is the only person when he is rescued and is " reborn ", " so in my opinion the book Hatchet successfully represents the child archetype.
